Jonah 2:4-6

⁴ “So I said, ‘I have been ^(A)expelled from ^[a]Your sight.
Nevertheless I will look again ^(B)toward Your holy temple.’
⁵ “^(C)Water encompassed me to the ^[b]point of death.
The great ^(D)deep ^[c]engulfed me,
Weeds were wrapped around my head.
⁶ “I ^(E)descended to the roots of the mountains.
The earth with its ^(F)bars was around me forever,
But You have ^(G)brought up my life from ^[d]the pit, O Lord my God.
